How will reimbursements be handled? Can I use my registration toward another LTEN event?

Your registration from the 2020 conference has been transferred to the 2021 Annual Conference.

If you do not want your 2020 registration transferred to the 2021 live conference, email accounting@L-TEN.org with 2020 Reimbursement Request in the subject line. Include the name associated with the registration in the body of the email. We commit to responding within 3 business days with any further questions or refund acknowledgment. Please submit your request no later than Monday, May 18, 2020.

As an added thank you for your early participation in the 2021 annual conference (June 7-10, 2021 at the Gaylord Rockies in Colorado), we are also giving you complimentary VIP access to the new LTEN Connect Virtual Learning Forum (www.LTENconnect.com). We will reach out to 2020 live conference registrants with details and special promo code. Promo code is non-transferrable and limited to those who have not already registered for an LTEN Connect event pass.

An additional option is to use your current credit toward another LTEN training. Credit is good through June 15, 2021.

What is the LTEN Connect Virtual Learning Forum?

The LTEN Connect is a new virtual learning forum being held June 9-11, 2020. This is a unique opportunity to learn, network, and share ideas with the life sciences training community. You can learn more at www.LTENconnect.com

What will happen to my hotel reservation?

If you booked your room within the LTEN Gaylord Palms room block, the hotel will release your room on Tuesday, May 5, and send you a confirmation email once the cancellation has been processed. No additional action is required by you.

If you booked your hotel at another venue or outside of the LTEN room block, please call the hotel directly to cancel your reservation.

Why did you wait until now to cancel?
We made every effort to hold the conference as scheduled and coordinated with our Board of Directors, Advisory Council and Preferred Industry Partners Advisory Council to support evidence-based decision making. However, the COVID-19 pandemic was evolving so rapidly that each day brought a new development. The fast-evolving circumstances, which were outside of anyone’s control, made it clear that it would be an unacceptable risk to bring people together.

I was selected to speak at the conference. What happens now?
We thank all LTEN speakers who have spent valuable time working on session content. We will reach out to our selected presenters directly to discuss options of sharing their content. We’ll also provide a discount code to attend the new LTEN Connect Virtual Learning Forum (www.LTENconnect.com) in appreciation of your efforts.
Will speakers still be able to share session content?

We want to thank you for participating. We will sorely miss being with you in person but would like to invite you to consider presenting your material in another format for the LTEN member community at a later date in another format. Use this form to submit your existing idea for consideration.

As a gesture of our appreciation, we are 50% off admission to LTEN Connect, our new virtual learning forum (www.LTENconnect.com). We will be reaching out shortly with more information.

Excellence Awards FAQs

I applied for the LTEN Excellence Awards but have not seen anything about that. What is happening now?

Thank you for your patience. We will be announcing the finalists on Tuesday, May 5, and reaching out to all award entrants to announce next steps.

We will still have the opportunity to celebrate you and your incredible work by hosting a virtual ceremony it at the LTEN Connect virtual forum on June 10, 2020. We will also highlight our finalists and winners in a special edition of LTEN Focus On Training magazine, across our website and all communication channels. Trophies and certificates will be shipped to our honorees. We also encourage all awards entrants to submit their digital poster presentations. Details on the final specs will be provided via email shortly.

I just learned I am a finalist at the 2020 event? How will I find out if I or my team, or client have won? How will we be celebrated?
First of all, congratulations!!! We will still celebrate you and your incredible work by hosting a recorded ceremony and streaming it at the LTEN Connect virtual forum on June 10, 2020 (www.LTENconnect.com). Exhibitor and Sponsor FAQs

What will happen to our PIP, exhibit booth, sponsorship investment?

LTEN Annual Conference 2020 exhibitors and sponsors will be contacted in the during the week of May 4 with more information on the reimbursement process that we will follow, as well as options for applying a portion of your PIP investment in other 2020 opportunities and/or the LTEN 2021 conference.

Reimbursements for exhibit and sponsorship payments will be handled pursuant to the terms of the LTEN Sponsor and Exhibit Rules, Regulations and Code of Ethics. Because the PIP packages vary from one organization to the next, Gregg Haunroth will be reaching out personally to address options specific to you.

Will there be exhibit and sponsorship opportunities as part of the LTEN Connect event?
