New to the conference? New to LTEN? Wondering how to get the most value for your membership? Then this meeting is for you.

Learn how to make the most out of your conference experience through exploring the conference program, highlighting popular events and pointing out new offerings. In addition, participants will have an opportunity to investigate what resources LTEN has to offer and to network with like-minded professionals in this collaborative session.

Charity Team-Building Activity at the Networking Party

Tuesday, June 6 ~ 6:00 – 7:30 PM
Gaylord Opryland Event Center

For this year’s 46th LTEN Annual Conference, attendees will once again get the chance to give back. We’ll gather at 6 PM local time on Tuesday, June 6, at the event center near Gaylord Opryland to assemble care packages for the children served by Safe Haven Family Shelter, which assists homeless families in Middle Tennessee. LTEN members are also welcome to bring donated items for the bags, including:

  • Backpack/book-bags for camp travel and/or school
  • Bug spray
  • Sunscreen
  • Chapstick/lip balm
  • Ponchos
  • Pillows
  • Patterned pillowcases

What can you do to help?

LTEN will provide items to be stuffed into the packages, we gladly welcome donations. Donations can either be shipped in advance of the event or brought to the registration desk. Donations are not required in order to participate.

The shipping details are as noted below. This is for charity items only. No exhibitor/workshop/booth shipments will be accepted. Packages should not arrive before May 31 and arrive no later than June 2.

Imagine this. You’ve made it through day one – engaging workshops, interesting Learning Labs, conversations with peers and training partners, new ideas being sparked and ping-ponging everywhere. You may be ready to call in the towel or have a quiet dinner someplace nearby. DON’T DO IT! IMG_2448

So many have thought the same thing only to find out that they missed the fireworks, cocktails, dancing, games, laughter, etc. The LTEN staff spends months planning an evening you won’t soon forget. If there’s one thing you don’t want to skip, it is this very evening.
