Important Reminders for Workshop & Lab Facilitators

We want you to make sure your time with LTEN is a success. Here are some important reminders for you:

Your Slides:

  • Workshops Facilitators: Bring your laptop and workshop slides on a thumb drive.
  • Presenting a Learning Lab? Bring your presentation on a thumb drive. Laptop is included.
  • See a list of audio-visual included and how you can order additional A/V for your session or lab here.
  • All uploaded slides and handouts will be made available to LTEN members through the member app and online after the conference.

Speaker Ready Room:

  • Located in Del Rio 2 and is open from 7:30 AM until 5:00 PM Tuesday and Wednesday.
  • Use the room to check your laptop, projector and hookups and presentation files
  • Meeting place for your panelists or co-presenters

Badge:

  • You’ll need a badge in order to get into the conference. If you have not yet registered, please do so now by clicking here and using Promo Code: TXSpeaker2019 when registering to save $200 off your full conference pass.
  • Pick up your badge in the Grapevine Ballroom foyer (outside of the General Session area) or the Longhorn D Exhibit Hall foyer (in front of the Learning Village Exhibit Hall)

Promote Your Workshop or Learning Lab!

Workshop & Learning Lab Schedules

You have received your workshop times and locations in previous correspondence. If you have any questions or have misplaced the earlier messages you can locate the session information here.

If you need to submit changes, add photos/bios/handouts, or make corrections, please use the portal link and login previously provided to you. Can’t locate the login or need a hand, email us at Workshops@L-TEN.org. Instructions for uploading materials.

Note that any changes submitted after April 22, 2019 will not be reflected in the on-site program/guide.


Workshop Handouts & Presentations

We are including the workshop evaluations in our mobile app rather than the paper copies. We ask that you include the attached slide at the end of your presentation or if you do not have a power point, PLEASE REMIND ALL ATTENDEES TO COMPLETE SURVEYS IN THE MOBILE APP (below is a link for both a PowerPoint template and the Evaluation Reminder slide by itself). We base our selection of workshops on these reviews, and need attendee feedback to ensure quality content.

During Your Workshop

Should you have an issue with your room set up, please check with one of the attendants outside of your  session room for assistance.

If you have any technical difficulties during your session please ask someone in the back of the room to grab an audio visual tech in the hallway. We will have audio visual techs positioned in each of the hallways and will have LTEN staffers roaming the hallways as well. We do ask that you put the room back in order for the next presenter.


Workshops Set-Up & AV

LTEN provides the following A/V package for each workshop at no cost:

  • One flipchart with markers
  • One screen
  • One LCD projector
  • One handheld microphone

IMPORTANT: Laptop is NOT included and you must bring your own.

Learning Lab Room Set-Up & AV

Theater Style Seating includes:
A monitor, flip chart, laptop and one handheld microphone. Presenters should bring their presentation on a memory stick.

Due to tight timing between Learning Labs, we ask that presenters take any additional questions or extended conversations outside of the Lab in order to allow the next presenter time to set-up.

Two locations this year! Simply walk up to a kiosk, search for your name and print out your badge. Both locations will have a mobile app help desk.
